ESPN First Take w/ Brandon Marshall

Steven A. Smith-ESPN2's First Take Sports Journalist
On October 23, 2012 ESPN2's First Take segment involved Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall to make a much needed phone call to Steven A. Smith, sports journalist for ESPN. It was in reference to alleged incidents that took place throughout the years the Chicago Bear's star wide receiver had been in the National Football League. This was all due to Brandon Marshall being diagnosed with border lined personality months earlier in 2012. It gives you a true sense of what pro atheletes go through from a personal stand point, even though they take home millions of dollars annually. After the alleged conversation, they began to speak on a more spiritual level of conversation as Marshall began to state his place in what is now understood to be his Christian faith. Although Brandon Marshall have had his share of problems since entering the league, we can all learn to change the error of our ways through living examples of icons such as the Chicago Bears' superstar. First take is definently a show for the ages, as well as all ages. #Embracedebate

Final 2012 Presidential Debate - Romney vs Obama

There is no question that President Obama left everything on the debate desk after the 3rd and final presidential election, 2012. Most believe that it was much needed for Obama to apply some pressure to Romney, pertaining to certain statements made by Governor Romney and camp during the last few months. It was clear that Romney seem to have great amnesia when it comes to ownership of what he had to say in previous campaigns, even before 2012.
I tell you one thing, the last thing America needs is a contradicting and/or munipulating type of individual! By no means am I being bi-ous, but as a people it is important for us to stop ignoring the red flags being thrown from government officials. There is a saying that goes, "say what you mean, and mean what you say." #mypoliticalview

First Presidential Debate 2012

Republican Canidate Mitt Romney vs President Obama
CNN air our first presidential debate of 2012 in Denver, CO involving President Obama debating against Republican canidate Mitt Romney.  The two squared off on topics such as the rebuilding of the economic crisis pertaining to regaining employment for the American citizens, the Obama health plan and it's way to lower the cost of premiums, and how to better our education system nationwide.  On this particular night, it seemed to have favored Mitt Romney on several occasions due to the lack of consideration the moderator had for the President during his time to stress his points while speaking on his various debates.  First and far most, did anyone pay attention to how the moderator chose to deal with the two canidates individually?  Granted, although President Obama ended the night having a few more minutes than Romney overall to speak, You would have thought that the Republican Canidate was the moderator himself  being that he was able to continue to cut the moderator off on several occasions as the moderator tried to control the clock time between the two.  But, as for the President the moderator became a lot more aggressive about him being out of time to speak, go figure!  It became so obvious that Obama had to laugh off the horrendous aggression shown by the moderator, and in return cut him off as well.  It was clear that Romney contradicted a few points he made a several weeks, even months ago.  But of course, he somehow found a way to dilute his prior campaign points by stressing points that were compatable to what Obama had already emphasized; painting a deceitful picture as if the President was taking invalid shots towards him for not being as clear as he felt he should have in the first place, go figure.  In conclusion, just because you have great business skills doesn't mean that you have the ability to run a country that would not only satisfy, but merge Democrats and Republicans alike for a common cause.  #GohumbledObama

ESPN 30 for 30 Recap:

Billy Corben (Director of ESPN 30 for 30: Broke)
For those who missed out last night at 8pm, ESPN had a GREAT, but sad line up of horror stories concerning the atheletes that had no prior money managing experience throughout their NFL, NBA, and Major Baseball League careers.  That is a prime example of how high schools and colleges alike need to educate our youth when dealing with large amounts of bank! Being ignorant to the fact, how can we blame an athelete for lacking the knowledge of making that transitional period a plus, when he or she have never been taught how to properly invest! To make matters even worse, about 97% of the atheletes whom in which told their stories were inner-city kids growing up... GO FIGURE!

ESPN: 30 For 30

On Tuesday, October 2nd ESPN is releasing a new documentory titled Broke which airs at 8:00pm.  It will discuss unfortunate turning points of how different atheletes are challenged financially, due to their decision-making lifestyles.  It takes you behind the scenes to become enlightened of how these atheletes loss millions of earned income throughout their sports career.

ESPN2's top sports segment First Take guest starred former Boston Celtic Antoine Walker to come on and explain what his situation was and specifically how his choices and decision making cost him the lack of lifestyle, he had to become accustomed to.  Without a doubt the information exposed will be heartfelt, but more importantly enlightenment for anyone who tend to lack proper money management abilities.  So in conclusion, I encourage all to watch as they go down the list of atheletes sharing their stories, and willingly exposing their most private financial moments in reference to friends and family as well.  As you read about it right here, stay tuned.
